  • Programming skills in C/C++
  • Previous experience building system applications for the Linux operating system
  • A bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, or similar experience is required.
  • Practical experience with the software engineering development lifecycle
  • Ability to debug and integrate systems
  • The ability to collaborate in a diverse team setting and with others in multi-site businesses.
  • At least one year of industry experience in large-scale software product development teams and projects is required.


  • Working knowledge of the Linux DRM subsystem and graphics/computing SW stack
  • Familiarity with Linux kernel open source contributions and practises – Understanding of Linux operating system architecture and device driver model
  • Working knowledge of 3D driver development, Vulkan/OpenGL APIs, and contributing to the open source Mesa 3D project
  • HPC, AI, and/or machine learning software experience
  • Experience with developing apps for discrete GPUs – Developing scalable MPI applications
  • Working knowledge of Linux power management flows and/or power-saving hardware
